pushing to the peak
when atop
enjoy the view
years in coming
stay a while
sunsets and sunrises
you've missed so many
they were made for you
before you head down stay a while
once you set out to go down,
gravity will take hold
set you to spinning
hard to stop
and go back
at the bottom is the end of your journey.
some folks are so busy struggling
they pass right by the peak.
some folks give up half way and sit on the hillside with a bottle to keep them company.
